Internship/Study abroad

International Semester: Internship or study abroad?

The 9th semester of the programme is an international semester, which consist either in field studies in an internationally oriented tourism organisation or enterprise, or in a stay at a foreign university with a candidate level tourism programme. If the 9th semester consists in a stay at a foreign university, the student should ordinarily complete 3 or 4 courses at that university. Advance approval of the study plan must be obtained from the Study Board.

Each student must in other words choose between internship (field studies) or study abroad, and as both require a good deal of practical preparations, it is important to decide early in the 8th semester which option you prefer.
